Six reels and a random number of rows are your companions on this quest to land an 8,000x max win. It's a Megaways game and that means up to seven symbols can land on any of the reels. There's also a reel running horizontally at the bottom of the game area.
Wins pay from left to right and matching symbols must land on adjacent reels.
Royal symbols get you up to 1.5x and picture symbols pay up to 15x. This is for the maximum six-of-a-kind win. There are five royals and five pictures.
The wild symbol substitutes for other regular payers and this only appears on the bottom row. As it shows up, it'll send a number of random wilds onto the reel above and these have lives. You get a respin and the wild sticks around for the number of designated lives. Once it runs out of life, it disappears.
Wins record a payout and remove winning symbols from the reels. This is classed as a ‘tumble’ in this game and you'll need several of these to land big combos.

Land five more consecutive tumbles and you get extra free spins and if your final win is between 50x and 80x, you'll be given a chance to collect the win or replay the feature. I picked up 10 free spins and a minimum of 1,000 ways to win from the bonus wheel and watched as Freya worked her magic on these reels. I had a 3x multiplier to provide additional firepower halfway through my spins and I saw that increased to an x5 multiplier – I'd picked up 25x in winnings by this point. The multiplier moved ever skywards throughout my final few spins, but it didn't do me many favours. My final win count was 27x.
To keep things fair, I had another go and my second attempt provided me with 12 free spins and again I had 1,000 ways to win. The second turn in the bonus game did last much longer as more wins turned up and far bigger multipliers were applied. My final payout was healthier this time and I received 146x for my troubles.
This wild symbol lands on the bottom row and doesn't appear on the 1st or last reel. It adds wilds to a random number of positions on the reels and these have lives. With each respin, the wild symbols lose a life until they are of no further use to you.

I didn't feel a lot of love during the base game and even though the Redrop symbol can produce a tumble, my balance didn't reap the rewards. I felt teased quite often by the mechanic and this was the same in the bonus game. However, the volatility is very high and I imagine somebody could reach the 8,000x max win at some point. The RTP is 96.50%, which is higher than most slots.

I have to be honest, it looks like an idyllic place to live, but mobile phones don't do the imagery justice as the reels take up most of the view. Freya is a very similar character to others that we've seen in previous Pragmatic Play games and her animated movements are quite limited.
We all know that Pragmatic Play doesn't like to go overboard when it comes to deviating from fairly standard slot behaviour. However, adding Megaways was a nice touch as it helps to set this slot apart from many of their other creations.
