Magic Piggy Review
For most magic shows, you'll find a rabbit as a mascot. Hacksaw Gaming decided to avoid this entirely by having a pig mascot throughout the show! Magic Piggy is a magic slot that follows a golden pig through a trick.
The slot plays on 5-reels with 19 paylines and focuses on triggering one of two bonus rounds or activating the Magic Piggy and Hat feature. By the end of this slot, you'll be squealing with joy!
Design
When you open up this slot, you won't be able to tell by the visuals that this is supposed to be a magic show. Instead, there are gold coins around and a vault in the background.
Occasionally, there is a golden pig running across the reels or stealthily sneaking on the stage. The only giveaway is the fact that there is a magic hat on the reels and the description within the game menu.
Whilst the design is decent looking, it's confusing and feels like a mashup of loads of different things. Perhaps, Hacksaw Gaming didn't know what sort of slot they were going through which resulted in Magic Piggy.
There aren't even any magical noises or booming voices throughout the slot. Instead, there are weird pig noises that would fit a farm slot instead of this one.
Gameplay
This is quite a standard Hacksaw Gaming slot with two bonus rounds and a random symbol reveal mechanic. It's nothing refreshing or innovative.
However, if you like straightforward Hacksaw Gaming slots, then this could be the one for you. To trigger one of the bonus rounds, you just need to land 3 FS symbols and that's it!
Win Potential
Magic Piggy has a decent win potential throughout the slot with an RTP of 96.19% and a medium volatility level. Following this, there is a maximum win of 7,500x the stake.
For a high volatility slot, this amount would be considered decent. For a medium volatility slot, it's considered quite good and offers players the chance to win something big.
Our Verdict
This is clearly not the best slot from Hacksaw Gaming - but Magic Piggy will suit a certain type of audience looking for straightforward and engaging gameplay.
The overall design is quite confusing at times but perhaps that adds to the charm for some people. Magic Piggy is worth playing if you like bizarre designs, bonus rounds and medium volatility gameplay.
