Machina Reloaded Megaways Review
Back in 2019, Kalamba Games released one of the biggest slots of the year with Machina Megaways. This sci-fi-inspired slot contained big wins and Megaways along with a cool theme which made it a hit with slot players.
Over three years later, the slot developers decided it was time for a new and improved version of the beloved classic with Machina Reloaded Megaways. With enhanced graphics, better gameplay and modern mechanics, Machina Reloaded Megaways delivers an experience not to be missed.
Design
The design is similar to the original but is improved with more going on. The world of this slot feels fully rounded and there are so many different cyberpunk buildings in the distance with neon lights.
As for the symbols on the reels, there are the human heroes and the cyborg fighting them. Thankfully, all of the characters have animations which definitely brings them to life.
The overall style and tone of this slot is inspired by many things but Cyberpunk 2077, Bladerunner and Ex-Machina are the obvious ones. The music is obviously a synth track with drums and bass to create something more intense but it feels right at home in this slot.
Gameplay
The cashpot feature is available during both the free spins round and the base game. However, the biggest feature in this slot is easily the free spins round with the progressive feature leading to some huge wins.
At the bottom of the screen, there is the spin button followed by the bet level button. Non-UK players will be happy to find out that there is a bonus buy option to purchase the free spins.
Win Potential
Whilst the win potential is not as high as the original slot, the statistics are still quite good. Firstly, there is a decent RTP of 96.20% which is over the average standard and is joined by a high volatility level.
As for the maximum win, players can gain up to 15,000x the stake in this slot through the free spins round and the cyborg symbols. 15,000x the stake is an amazing amount that will certainly leave players smiling.
Our Verdict
Machina Reloaded Megaways is easily an upgrade on the original game in terms of the design and feels more like a modern slot. However, it's worth mentioning that the gameplay remains almost the same which may disappoint some players looking for something new.
This is not to say that the gameplay is bad in any way but nothing refreshing. The overall experience of this slot is one that is filled with entertainment and will not disappoint players.
