Knights of Avalon Review
Somebody at Red Tiger Gaming has got a bit of a thing for Game of Thrones and wanted to produce something ever so slightly similar without infringing on any copyright laws!
There are loads of different knight symbols that can all bring big prizes to the fray and some of them even like a tear-up as they try their best to bring you big winnings.
Design
The game is set on the balcony of a castle in the mythical land of Avalon made famous by the Arthurian legend. House banners are draped from the sides of the reels and the spinning symbols gain an added touch of authenticity similar to the sharpening of a sword as the Knights Drop feature appears.
This detailed production looks great on all size devices including mobile phones and you don't have to worry about your phone speakers not reproducing the audio to the highest standard as it is a bit repetitive and you won't be missing out if you can't hear it that well.
Game Play
The addition of the Knights Drop feature keeps the base game feeling exciting and you never know when those scatter symbols might turn up to take you off to the free spins bonus. However, there is a distinct lack of modifiers to keep you gripped throughout this adventure, unfortunately. You will find a few wilds but not much else with any great frequency.
Win Potential
As you would expect, these brave nights present some big ol’ bags of gold and the maximum win of 17,729x could be available on the right day at the right time. Watch out for high volatility and a 95.69% RTP, which is slightly below average.
Our Verdict
Knights of Avalon is a fun game but it doesn't bring anything to the party that we haven't seen before. The base game can become a little monotonous and the bonuses could be quite few and far between so be prepared for a long stint of service protecting your bankroll.
Having said that, when the Knights Drop feature appears during the free spins bonus, some enormous wins may be bestowed unto your balance thanks to the additional multipliers.
