It isn't exactly a unique feature and you might have seen it with various names while playing other slots. Unfortunately, the star of the show is more of a base game modifier and doesn't bring anything other than potential payouts with it. But then again, that might be all you’re looking for today.
Design
The game's design is simple and exactly the same as all of the others in this series. Wazdan has formed the basic template and continues to use it over and over, which might turn people off after a while.
The bottom of the screen presents several options for you to change your stake as well as increase the volatility using the chilli pepper button—you can select low, medium or high.
The soundtrack is an odd choice as it begins with an Ibiza chill-out vibe and as soon as you hit the spin button, the stereotypical fruit machine noises crash down over the top of the backing track.
Game Play
You could be forgiven for thinking that something else was going to happen while playing this game. The Cash Out modifier is fantastic and can present some decent wins but you just feel like you are itching for something else to appear at any moment.
Unfortunately, it doesn't move on from the base game and can leave you feeling a little underwhelmed if you aren't prepared for what's in store. That said, manage your expectations as you load the game up and you won't be disappointed.
Win Potential
The main prize of 1,500x is possible thanks to either jackpot symbols or a full house of gold symbols. It's a decent payout and can theoretically come while playing any of the volatility levels, but we suspect you'll have a better chance of hitting this big prize while using higher volatility. There's no problem with the RTP as this sits at just over 96% giving the house less than a 4% edge.
Our Verdict
As we said before, you need to know exactly what you're getting into to avoid disappointment. Players who rush in wanting a bag of bonus features aren’t going to get what they're after, but if you like a classic fruit machine feel with a high-class finish, then Hot Slot 777 Cash Out might just do the trick.
