Disco Dawgs Review
There has been the age-old question of what animals get up to when we aren't looking at them. Amazingly, Light & Wonder has the answer with Disco Dawgs.
Playing on 5-reels with 20 paylines, this medium to high volatility slot features multiple wilds as well as free spins leading to wins of up to 17,413x the stake.
Design
The overall design of Disco Dwags verges on tacky at times but thankfully never fully crosses the line. As the name suggests, there is a disco going on around the screen with strobe lights and disco flooring that lights up.
On the reels, there are dog accessories and items such as dog bowls and collars but these have a funky twist making them relate to the slot. One thing that is clear is that Dax and Pug look cute, whilst Pomeranian looks terrifying and like something out of a horror film.
Despite this, the visuals do work well with the slot's tone and are accompanied by a groovy track that plays in the distance.
Gameplay
In the base game, there are two potential wilds that can land to increase the chances of winning big. However, through the free spins round, there is only one wild that combines multipliers with moving symbols.
Most of the menu buttons can be found on either side of the reels with the spin button and bet level to the right and the sound settings to the left.
Win Potential
First and foremost, the RTP for this slot is on the baseline standard of 96% which is generally acceptable for an online slot. Additionally, there is a medium to high volatility level with a focus on the higher side.
As for the maximum win, players can win up to 17,413x the stake through the free spins round with the multipliers. This is a pretty solid amount for an online slot and will definitely please those looking for big wins.
Our Verdict
Disco Dawgs joins a long line of dog slots and stands out as one of the better ones. Whilst the design may not be as polished as The Dog House, the gameplay and win potential definitely makes up for it.
The different wilds are quite original and will definitely keep players engaged throughout. If you love dancing slots paired with cute dogs, then look no further than Disco Dawgs.
