Crashout: Fireworks Review
After the crazy success of Spaceman, many other slot developers decided to try to recreate the magic and jump on the hype train of the crash game. 1X2 Gaming thought it would be a fun idea to recreate Spaceman but with fireworks instead in Crashout: Fireworks.
Just like other crash games, this slot does not have any reels or paylines. Instead, players must set a bet and cashout before the rocket explodes. This game is always played live accompanied by other players within the chat lobby.
Design
The main game is centred in the middle with the menus and buttons all around. To the left side, there are the current bets of the game with options to select your own bets or the top bets. To the right, players will find the previous top winners and the game reactions in the chat box.
Do not expect overly complicated visuals as this game keeps it very minimalistic. Before the game starts, there is a rocket surrounded by grass and the sky but designed in a very simple way. When it floats to the sky, it will drift through space with some animations but nothing crazy. When the rocket explodes, there is a 1X2 Gaming logo in the sky which is a cool touch.
As for the music, there is a soft techno score that is actually closer to lo-fi beats. It's extremely relaxing and will definitely be stuck in your head throughout the day.
Gameplay
The game is incredibly simple and all players need to know how to do is set the bet and how to cashout. When the bet is set, players can cashout at any moment as soon as the rocket flies up. There is an auto-cashout button that will cashout for players automatically if the rocket hits this level.
Players can type in the bet at the bottom of the screen or increase it in x2 or x5 increments. Even the auto-cashout amount can be typed which means players can literally just type what they want.
Win Potential
It's worth pointing out that this game is not like most other slots. The game apparently has a high volatility level which means that big wins will appear but less frequently. Players will have to have patience and be quite risky with wins in order to win huge.
As for the RTP, it's just on average at 96% which is just on the average level which is acceptable. The biggest win in this slot is 2,500x the stake which is pretty decent considering the gameplay but the larger wins may be far and few - so have patience and the bankroll to sustain yourself if you want to win big.
Our Verdict
Whilst it's hard to compare to Spaceman, Crashout: Fireworks does a fantastic job of standing on its own with the unique design paired with the emoji chat feature. There is nothing overly complicated throughout this game making it perfect for newcomers to crash games.
We'd actually recommend players try out this game first before Spaceman to get used to the mechanics and only move to Spaceman if you are looking for something a bit more complicated. Crashout: Fireworks is simple but entertaining showing the beauty of crash games.
