Some of the older Age of the Gods slots have held up well in terms of design, but we'll be completely honest, this one did not. The reels are surrounded by a lavish golden frame which is sat in front of a blue cloudy sky, it sounds nice, but it's a bit garish and some of the symbols look quite low quality.
Low paying symbols appear as your standard 9, 10, J, Q, K, A whilst high paying symbols appear as four mighty gods, Atlas, Hephaestus, Pandora and Apollo. Special symbols see a gilded throne appear as the scatter and a giant 4 as the wild.
In terms of sound, this game is nothing special, there's a generic soundtrack that helps add some degree of atmosphere, but it's not really worth writing home about.
Age of the Gods Furious Four mimics many of the other early releases in the Age of the Gods series, everything is controlled via an action bar which is along the bottom of the reels. On the left-hand side of the reels players can access an information page that details everything players could possibly need to know including the paytable and bonus features.
