Pragmatic Play donates £10K to Samaritans charity
This money will go directly to the Gibraltar Samaritans
As one of the most well-known iGaming developers out there, Pragmatic Play is constantly striving to help communities in need. This month, the multi-product provider has donated £10,000 to the Gibraltar Samaritans to help fund its Wellbeing in the Workplace initiative.
This is the latest in many charitable donations from Pragmatic Play. Just in this year alone, the developer has donated to Dr Klown, funds for World Autism Awareness Month, £100,000 for Ukraine and £10,000 for SOAR.
What does this organisation do?
The Gibraltar Samaritans offer workplace training to companies and organisations to help them understand the value and importance of having Wellbeing Champions.
Ultimately, the organisation focuses on bringing well-being expertise into the workplace with training designed to enable openness and support for those who may be struggling with their mental health.
This organisation was only set up in 2017 but has continued to help those in need since this moment in time.
The charity "do great work", says Pragmatic Play
Julian Jarvis, CEO at Pragmatic Play, said: “The Gibraltar Samaritans do great work, and their Wellbeing in the Workplace initiatives are an important cause we are very proud to support, with work being an environment where people should feel safe, secure, and supported.
She added: “Our CSR commitments are extremely important to us, and our support for charities and institutions doing valuable work in our home locations is unwavering.”
We expect that Pragmatic Play will continue to help and support organisations that need it throughout the year. It's a refreshing change of pace for big companies to give back and we're sure that you'll agree with us.
