Pragmatic Play donate £100K to Ukraine Appeal
The iGaming giant donates to help those affected in the Ukraine conflict
Many within the iGaming industry are showing their support for the conflict in Ukraine with Push Gaming raising £30,000 and Nolimit City donating towards the Humanitarian Assistance.
Pragmatic Play has announced that they are donating £100,000 towards the British Red Cross as part of the organisation's Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
Where will the donation go?
The donation from Pragmatic Play will go towards the well-being and safety of families through the charity. In just under two months, the Red Cross has already reached one million people with aid across both Europe and Ukraine.
This includes support through financial assistance, food, clothing, water and psychological care. There are volunteers across the world assisting the Red Cross and helping civilians caught in the conflict.
Deeply touched by the Ukraine conflict
Julian Jarvis, CEO at Pragmatic Play, said: “The conflict in Ukraine is one that has deeply touched us at Pragmatic Play. We have valued colleagues and their families directly affected and we are keen to help them and the wider community in Ukraine in whatever way we can.”
“Our contribution will help ensure that the incredible work that the Red Cross undertakes can continue and those caught up in the crisis will be able to receive much needed humanitarian support.”
“Appreciative of this donation,” says Red Cross
Edward Davies, chairman at the Gibraltar Red Cross, said: “Our work is vital as we look to bring aid to those most in need and through financial assistance from those such as Pragmatic Play, we can make a difference.”
He concluded: “We are incredibly appreciative of this donation and would like to express our thanks to Pragmatic Play.”
