Don't expect this developer to be breaking out of the original mould from the first Tomb of Gold game. This version is fairly similar, to say the least. It does feel like it's had a bit of a modern upgrade and the fiery outline to the reels has been dumbed down ever so slightly and replaced with a more serpent-style display.
The symbols are very familiar and we've seen these in dozens of other Play’n GO slots before, but they're nicely crafted all the same. The game plays well on mobile phones and regardless of the device you choose, you get to experience a score which wouldn't be out of place in an Egyptian-themed action movie.
Tomb of Gold 2 presents a series of opportunities to keep yourself entertained and potentially grab big wins at the same time. It's a decent-looking slot with some fun features and you can't knock Play’n GO for bringing out a sequel to this title. The overall setup and mechanics aren't pushing any boundaries but this is still a solid addition to the slots scene.
