The backdrop is a bit Ghostbusters-vs-Zule and gives the game a futuristic yet dystopian vibe. The soundtrack is an industrial, unsettling mix of crunching and crashing noises with a bit of a generic Hollywood blockbuster score, which adds an unnerving yet upbeat vibe.
I was so impressed with this game! If you’ve played the original Ankh of Anubis, you’ll see that Play’n GO hasn’t really changed much for the sequel. But you know what they say: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
