The game looks and sounds great. The desaturated colour scheme is nicely offset by the flashes of colour brought about by non-paying symbols and winning combinations. The music is suitably epic without being overbearing. Not much changes in the bonus round, though. The music increases its tempo and the colours get a little brighter, but there’s no change of setting.
There are plenty of features, but that isn’t to say the game is complicated. Nonetheless, the likes of Mystery symbols and Palace of Mercury add a layer of complexity which helps keep things interesting.
