Landing wilds to build up reel multipliers is a great way to get your balance in shape, and the rising roar could improve things even further. I don't think we should be fooled by how simple this game appears on the surface.
You can get yourself a win worth up to 100x thanks to the regular paying symbols, and you can build those up further when the wild symbols land. These not only substitute for regular symbols, but they also add to the multiplier at the top of the corresponding reel. None of this really matters during the base game though.
To further add to the multiplier potential, 3 random reels can have their multipliers increased by up to 3x, and you'll also notice that there are some hold & win symbols that can trigger a feature round.
