Play begins on this 5x5 grid with one of my favourite gameplay mechanics – cluster pays. It means that you need matching symbols to form winning groups that touch horizontally or vertically.
A group of four or more symbols is enough to pick up a win with the low payers getting you up to 6x when 10 or more symbols form a combination. The high payers can fetch you up to 100x.
All-seeing eyes can appear during the base game and the bonus round and if you land a win across these symbols, you'll receive up to four wilds during the base game and there's something a little extra waiting for you when this happens in the bonus game.
Wild symbols will help form winning groups and the Alter Wilds can trigger ritual effects with multipliers worth up to 5x. The Ammit the Devourer Wild is an extra large symbol that will step three times to help produce wins in different places.
The Ritual Meter charges each time you trigger a win and after 8 charges, you get up to 4 wilds. Once you have 16, you get another 2 to 4 wilds and symbols get destroyed as well. After 30 charges, yet more wilds hit the grid and symbols get upgraded. Finally, 48 charges will trigger the free spins bonus.
The bonus game is an extension of the base game and it comes in small pieces while you play. Getting to the top of the Ritual Meter means a free spin and you get 3 ritual features occurring with a chance to overcharge the meter. This can bring extra features for every 4 additional winning symbols and you might have up to seven in total.
