Grizzly Strike Review
Sometimes all you need is a break in the woods to enjoy the wonders of nature. Iron Dog Studio's Grizzly Strike happens to feature a variety of wild animals throughout the slot to add to the excitement.
Like most standard slots, this one plays on 5-reels with 20 paylines but features a variety of features to shake up the format. In this slot, you'll find a respin mechanic, free spins, multipliers and so much more. If you love animal slots in the wilderness packed with features, then Grizzly Strike could be the one for you.
Design
With Grizzly Strike, you'll find stunning visuals of a serene forest. There are massive trees, flowers blowing in the wind and a natural stream flowing. It all comes together to deliver a serene experience.
Of course, there are wild animals on the reels with bears, bison and deer but these all look quite adorable. Despite the name, these animals do not seem grizzly at all.
The audio contains a variety of drum beats paired with woodwind instruments to deliver something quite mystical. It all comes together to deliver a wonderful experience.
Gameplay
In Grizzly Strike, there are a variety of features on offer from free spins to respin mechanics. Of course, the bonus rounds must be triggered by landing specific symbols such as 3 scatters or 6 special golden nuggets for free spins and hold and win respectively.
Alongside this, there is a Grizzly feature that is activated when 2 or more Grizzly Wilds land on the reels. This leads to an expanding wild and extra scatters leading to big wins. There are also fixed jackpots that can be won throughout this slot. It's safe to say that the gameplay is definitely not lacking.
Win Potential
Sadly, the win potential is easily the biggest letdown of this slot. Firstly, the RTP is at 94.44% which is way under the average standard. We could forgive this low amount if the maximum win was high or there was a progressive jackpot. However, there is nothing like that in this slot.
Instead, you'll find a maximum win of 5,100x the stake with fixed jackpots awarding up to 1,000x the stake. It's a low amount when you take the RTP into consideration. It's unfortunate that the win potential has to let down the slot so much when the visuals and gameplay are superb.
Our Verdict
Grizzly Strike had all the makings to be one of the best Iron Dog Studio slots with the gameplay and overall design. Unfortunately, the win potential drops down the ranking as the maximum win is low and the RTP is way under the average.
It's a shame really as the slot itself is absolutely fantastic to play and will deliver hours of fun. We recommend giving this slot a spin if you love features and animal slots, but just be aware of the low RTP and make sure you have the bankroll to sustain yourself.
