Pragmatic Play is enjoying a run of grid slots lately and they've kept the theme going in Gem Elevator. This 6x5 setup will allow you to hit wins with matching groups of at least five symbols connected horizontally or vertically.
The lowest payers will get you between 0.5x and 1.6x for a group of five with their max payouts of between 20x and 50x for groups of between 13 and 30. The highest payers can achieve results of up to 1,000x for 13 to 30 matching red gems.
As winning clusters form, matching symbols will disappear and new ones fall into place. This allows for an extra win to land, potentially.
This sequence continues until no more wins are recorded and it's worth knowing that there's also a wild symbol. This symbol will substitute for all others except for the bonus scatter.
The burley Viking chap on the right of the reels holds the elevator lever in his hands and this is important as it can nudge some special treats your way. After a spin, he might decide to nudge any of the reels up or down five times and this could create new winning groups.
Wilds may also nudge onto the grid and these can now carry a multiplier of between 1x and 10x. If the wild nudge doesn't connect to win, it nudges again and doubles the multiplier as it moves up the grid. It's not guaranteed to hit a win but it could prove to be very valuable.
There is a free spins bonus that requires four, five or six bonus symbols and for this, you will get 10, 15 or 20 spins. At least one reel is nudged up or down thanks to the constant elevator nudge feature and those wild multipliers continue to make their way across the grid. I'm not sure why a Viking (or am I mistaken!?) has been chosen to control this elevator but it seems to work and I'm not complaining! Glowing gems are scattered all around and the reels are set into a mechanical lift that should look great on all devices, including mobiles.
