We knew it would happen one day. Egyptian themes and fishing themes continue to engage slots fans so it makes sense that somebody decided to put the two together. Fish eye hosts a mixture of Egyptian and fishing elements with the Eye of Horus symbols and cash fish symbols providing the inspiration for the title.

Design
The overall design of this slot is extremely slick, as you would expect from such a well-known game producer. It all takes place underwater with the reels planted into the riverbed. In the background, you can see the night sky with various pyramids stretching off into the distance.
We are pretty sure that the Nile would never look this clear running through the centre of Cairo and fishing here is probably about as safe as sticking your rod in the River Thames. But health and safety aside, there are plenty of ancient relics bubbling up to the surface and ready to land on the reels.
There’s also a fun and uber-stereotypical soundtrack to accompany the journey, which you can enjoy on mobile devices too.
Gameplay
You will be heavily focused on those big blue fish with their superb cash amounts during the base game. Landing a sizable catch can see some fantastic multipliers appear and these will help boost your balance no end.
As always, the big money is reserved for the free spins bonus. You won't see the scatter symbols appear too often of their own volition, so you might want to consider some of the available options to increase your chances.

Our Verdict
Fish Eye is a cracking effort from Pragmatic Play and even though the game mechanics aren't exactly original, it does fill a gap in the market for a crossover theme that should appeal to many people. You will need to be patient and budget accordingly, but the rewards could be sensational.
