This tranquil, Chinese setting plays host to 25 paylines, 4 jackpot prizes and three bonus features, each with its own powerful modifier. Triggering these bonuses is a fairly simple task but you're probably going to see a lot of standard wins before this happens.
These regular wins are made up of five royal symbols and five picture symbols. A five-of-a-kind combo made up of ace symbols will get you 1.2x your bet. I threw caution to the wind and began my journey with all three of the modifiers present. With a double game area, four respins and the chance of upgraded prize symbols, I was looking forward to my time with these bonus chests.
It looks a little complicated due to the double grid and information at the top of the screen but you soon get the hang of it.
After a few spins, I had 12 out of the 15 spaces filled on my first grid and payouts worth up to about 15x. The second grid still had six spaces left but there was a Minor jackpot included in my rewards so far.

There's a chance that more than one coloured coin can ignite the bonus game and this means you'll have a combination of one, two or three modifiers. You could be playing with upgraded values, a double game area and four respins!
Having a 10,000x top win doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be easy to hit. Some games don't provide any realistic way of grabbing such a prize, but I think Chests of Cai Shen is a little different. With such high volatility and a Grand jackpot of 5,000x, it might just be on the cards with this slot. The RTP is 96.47%.
Rather than brash colours and an overly exaggerated red hue, Pragmatic Play has gone for a beautiful backdrop, which looks like a watercolour painting. It's not perfect, but it does a fantastic job of setting the scene on both desktop and mobile. There's nothing wrong with the sound effects or the music, but I wouldn’t get too excited if I were you.
