Bravo Mission: First Strike Review
Military slots are quite rare within the iGaming world, so Hitsqwad Interactive Gaming's Bravo Mission: First Strike is a refreshing change. Released through Light & Wonder, this slot plays on 5-reels with 20 paylines.
During the mission, you'll uncover free spins, multipliers, the first strike feature and even three progressive jackpots. There is literally no other slot like this one out!
Design
You won't be immediately blown away by the design of this slot but that's not to say that it's bad. The game starts inside a fighter jet with all the different buttons surrounding the screen. As you are so high up, all that can be seen outside the windows are clouds.
On the reels, there are symbols relating to the military theme with helicopters, tanks, bombs, dog tags and fighter jets. It all comes together to deliver something perfect for players looking for a military twist.
The music is exactly what you'd expect with an orchestral score building up the atmosphere with cellos and violins. This is accompanied by drums to enhance the experience of the slot.
Gameplay
In Bravo Mission: First Strike, there are loads of different features throughout the base game. With free spins, you can unlock multipliers and the biggest base game wins.
Most of the buttons for this slot can be found on the right side of the screen with the only exceptions being bet level and sound buttons on the bottom.
Win Potential
As for the base game, the statistics are pretty standard with a solid RTP of 96% followed by a medium volatility level. The most intriguing aspect was that we found base wins to only reach up to 12,075x the stake which is pretty decent for a jackpot slot.
In addition to base game wins, there are three progressive jackpots of Minor, Major and Grand that can be won throughout. These will deliver the biggest wins throughout and is the most appealing aspect of the game. It's worth mentioning that the RTP with the progressive jackpot drops to 94.23% but this is still great for a jackpot slot.
Our Verdict
Whilst we weren't blown away by Bravo Mission: First Strike as much as we'd liked, we found the experience to be quite fun. The visuals and sound design transport you to a jet fighter which is exactly what the game is trying to do.
In addition to this, the gameplay feels quite refreshing with the first strike feature and it's nice to see progressive jackpots not attached to a big name. If you are looking for a brand-new jackpot slot to play, then look no further than Bravo Mission: First Strike.
