27th Cabaret Review
If you thought the 81st Cabaret was an entertaining experience, then you haven't seen anything yet. SYNOT Games is back with a new cabaret slot with the 27th Cabaret.
Playing on 3-reels with 5 paylines, this slot contains all the razzle-dazzle of a cabaret with added wilds, expanding wilds and gamble features leading to wins of up to 500x the stake.
Design
Both 27th Cabaret and 81st Cabaret are almost identical in design and style. The games are set with similar-looking backgrounds with a stage at the main setting, but the colours are muted in this slot and more towards darker colours.
The dancer at the cabaret is back and is exactly the same as the original. It's a shame that they didn't try to enhance the visuals or do something different to make the slot stand out.
Just like the original, the audio features a big brass band with a cool jazz score that fits in well with the visuals. We just hoped that the developers try to change it up by adding in some dialogue or something else.
Gameplay
Instead of 4-reels with 9 paylines, 27th Cabaret contains 3-reels with 5 paylines. Aside from that, the gameplay is identical with only wilds, expanding wilds and a gamble feature to keep players entertained. This is definitely a slot for casual players who prefer simplicity.
All the menu buttons can be found at the bottom of the screen with the spin button and bet level. During wins, the gamble feature appears just like the spin button and players have to click it manually.
Win Potential
27th Cabaret is a medium volatility slot with a decent RTP of 96.01%. Strangely enough, our gameplay felt like high volatility as there were very few wins but the ones we got were absolutely huge - but this was just our experience.
Sadly the low maximum win from the original slot is brought across at 500x the stake. This is low for a modern online slot and we were hoping for something bigger closer to 5,000x the stake at least.
Our Verdict
27th Cabaret is a clone of 81st Cabaret but with the bright and dazzling visuals taken out. Unfortunately, the design doesn't sparkle as much as the original and it's a shame that there were no free spins or additional features added.
It's disappointing that 27th Cabaret also fails to contain a decent maximum win for players. Fans of the original slot should give 27th Cabaret a spin to see what the fuss is about, but we'd suggest playing the original 81st Cabaret any day.
