Light & Wonder acquire another company

On the 10th of May 2022, Light & Wonder (formerly SG Digital) announced that the company has increased the scope of its iGaming content capabilities with the acquisition of Playzido.

This acquisition will provide a faster route for creative studios that do not have their own development platform as they can utilize Playzido's advanced technology and take advantage of Light & Wonder's Open Gaming platform.

What is Playzido?

Playzido is the creator of one of the market's leading platforms for rapid game creation and custom game development. Light & Wonder expects to build on the brilliant foundations that Playzido have developed.

The open and agile platform from Playzido will accelerate the pace that Light & Wonder can partner with game studios and operators across the globe.

Playzido is known for the Remote Gaming Server (RGS) which is one of the best in the iGaming industry for custom rapid game development.
