There are a few special treats to look forward to in this game and one of them is the payline mechanic. This is a Scatter Pays game and that means you can land wins with matching symbols dropping anywhere on the reels.
A minimum of eight are required to get you a standard win and this all begins with the green symbol. Between 15 and 30 of these will get you a 2.5x payout and this gets progressively better until you reach the gold shield. These are worth 50x for between 15 and 30 of them.

Athena does indeed appear to have quite a lot of wisdom in her approach to creating an attractive slot. The Multiplier symbols and increasing row heights are two fantastic ways to heighten the tension and potentially your wins as well.
I'm not sure if the ancient Greeks imagined their favourite deity to be quite so provocative and racy but Pragmatic Play has taken it upon themselves to make it so. Our lady in question bobs away strangely to the side of the reels holding her staff and shield as if prepared to go into battle - she was, after all, the goddess of war. The Parthenon graces the backdrop, as it so often does in this type of slot, and a lot of gold leaf has been applied to every sharp edge. It's a fairly predictable affair but it does look good on a range of screen sizes, including mobile phones.
The base game offers pretty much everything that the bonus game does minus the persistent multiplier. Therefore, you'll get just as much excitement out of the main part of the adventure, but players outside the UK can skip straight to the main event by paying 100x for the privilege. If I had the choice, I'm not sure I'd bother as there's no guarantee that the multiplier will bring any bigger and better wins.
I expected a little more from such a high-profile character and 5,000x doesn't exactly set the heavens alight. However, it's still a decent payout and the RTP is fairly respectable at 96.07% as well. Watch out for high volatility and keep an eye on your balance as you play.
