You may have seen stacked reels before but have you seen them slide into one symbol and produce a valuable multiplier? It's a new one for me and I like how AvatarUX is sliding this one in front of us without any pomp and ceremony. Seems like a great idea that I can get on board with!
With five reels and five rows, this game pays in 3,125 ways. To create a win, three identical symbols must land on adjacent reels with the first one on the leftmost reel. The royals produce the lowest payments with 0.5x available for a group of five queens, kings and aces. The picture symbols can pay up to 2x when you have a five-of-a-kind set of poker chips or dice.
The payouts are small and this is because multipliers can affect those rewards quite considerably. At any time, three or more matching symbols appear in a stack on the reels and they'll merge downwards to create a multiplier that sits on top of one single symbol. The multiplier amount is equal to the number of symbols that merged to create it.
This leaves a space above for more symbols to drop down onto the reels and potentially grab you another win. Some of these are called giant stacks and this is because two or more matching symbols at the top or bottom of a reel could nudge and potentially create an infinity stack which covers the whole reel. Once again, multipliers will come your way if this happens.
Random multipliers with 2x or more can merge with matching symbols and continue to grow. It's a nice added extra but you don't need to worry about it as it just happens from time to time.
The other standout feature is the synced reels and this can cause two or more reels to show matching symbols across them. You should have a better chance of hitting a big payout. Obviously, it all depends on which reels are synced and what the symbols are like before them.
Pick up 5, 10 or 15 free spins by landing between 3 and 5 bonus symbols. Continue to play as usual and you'll enjoy exactly the same features that you did in the base game but now you get a multiplier that continues to grow with each spin. If you have 15 spins, you'll have a 15x multiplier by the end of the game! Synced reels show up a lot more often.
Players outside the UK who don't want to wait for bonus symbols can pay 50x, 100x or 400x. These denominations will get you 5, 10 or 15 free spins. It's worth pointing out that the most expensive version will guarantee synced reels with every spin.
Three or more matching symbols on the same reel will merge together when they are in a direct stack. The result is one symbol with a multiplier made up of the number of symbols that creates this Infinity Stack. You can also pick up Giant Stacks when two or more matching symbols land together and nudge down to potentially create another multiplier.
You might notice two or more reels receive a highlighted frame and this makes all of the symbols line up across the designated reels. You get more chance of landing big wins with these special reels.
3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols will get you 5, 10 or 15 free spins. The feature is very similar to the base game but you'll now enjoy a global multiplier that increases with each spin and you'll see more of those synced reels.
I struggled to make any headway with these regular symbol payouts but that was to be expected. When the stacked symbols got the multipliers moving, that changed for the better. I didn't see anything remarkable though and the base game payouts remained smaller than I would have liked.
Synced reels can make a difference but if it's reels 4 and 5 and there's nothing else before it to help out, then they aren’t much use to you.
Naturally, the progressive multiplier that builds up throughout your free spins is a huge aid and if you've got 15 free spins, you could see something quite tasty by the end of the feature. Fingers crossed!
The max win is 10,000x but for me, it seems like a bit of a stretch so I wouldn’t be getting my hopes up if I were you. It's got pretty high volatility though so you never know when something decent might come your way – just keep an eye on your balance while you wait.
There's nothing spectacularly wrong with Vegas Fortune in a design sense but there's not much to get excited about either. It's a typical Vegas-themed slot with lots of lights and a purple background to entertain your eyes. Overall, it’s a simple idea and it looks fine on mobile phones as well. In terms of music, you might enjoy this game show mix for a few minutes but I'd wager that you'll be turning it off pretty soon.
While I found a few underwhelming aspects during this review, I was quietly impressed with the Infinity Stacks and the way they helped produce a little boost for my wins here and there. Unfortunately, they didn't get my balance to where I would have liked it but I imagine on a good day, some players will reap the rewards.
