From just opening up the slot, the design does look a little outdated like a slot you would have seen a few years back. Despite that, the visuals look good with some decent colours, but they aren't polished enough for today's standard. The reels are centred on a boat with the ocean in the distance and that's about it. There is no real animation aside from a few birds in the distance and some dolphins in the sea, but that's about it.
In terms of the symbols on the reels, they look pretty good with various boat symbols such as bells and wheels which add to the theme even more. On top of that, there's the ship captain who appears when you are about to land scatters which is a nice little attention to detail.
Thankfully, the music is relaxing and definitely makes you think of being on a luxury ship. It's a tropical beat that transports you to a holiday resort which is incredibly pleasing on the ears. Overall, the design is a strange one as the sound design is excellent, but the visual design is stuck in the past.
