Each spin during (I suppose what you would refer to as the base game) reveals nothing but blank space and bonus symbols. When you hit three bonus symbols, you start the bonus game. There's really nothing to it!
The bonus game kicks in straight away without any added ceremony and the blank spaces, which look like snow globes, will now reveal multiplier figures. These figures are worth a 10th of your bet amount.
You have three spins and each time a multiplier figure arrives, the spins are reset. The same can also be said for modifier symbols, of which there are plenty. Each one can help to increase your payout potential and send your bankroll in the right direction.
When you hit three spins without landing a multiplier or modifier symbol, the game comes to an end and your prizes are totalled up as you leave the bonus area. All you can do now is hope to get back in!
The biggest problem with this and other games in the ‘cart’ series from Relax Gaming is the tiny multiplier values. Whilst playing the bonus game, I built up, what I thought was a huge stack of multipliers, but I’d forgotten that the prizes are divided by 10 at the end of your spins.

I think the most I managed to accumulate after about a dozen attempts was 4x or 5x my bet amount.
The purpose of Money Sleigh is to land 3 bonus symbols and trigger the respins feature. Multiplier and modifier symbols will land to refresh your 3 lives and the board expands when you fill a reel. The final multiplier figure is applied to your bet amount and divided by 10.
I like to give every slot a chance and I'll play a bonus game more than once if possible. It helps to give me an idea of the win potential at this part of the game. Given that you can't win anything during the ‘base game’, there's nothing else to do but test the bonus!
My results were pitiful but I kept trying to give this slot the benefit of the doubt. It never changed though and in the end, I had to concede that I just wasn't going to get a big payout. After playing about 15 games, I'd still only seen two modifiers land and my wins never got above about 4x.
I'm never going to complain about a Christmas-themed slot – I think it's bad karma! I love this time of year and seeing this little house with the light shining through the window and the roof covered in snow gets me in the mood.
The sleigh is nice enough without going over the top and I like the little bubbles/snow globes with the holly and berries adorning them.
The music is perfectly festive and I won't hear a bad word said about that either! There's not much to concentrate on here so the size of the screen doesn't matter and players on mobile phones will benefit just as much from everything that Relax has included in this creation.
These tiny multiplier values and the lack of base game means that the bonus game effectively becomes the base game and won't give you decent payouts very often. Money Sleigh and the Money Cart series kind of ruin the purpose of a bonus game for me.
It's just a reskin of what we've seen before and I was never overly excited about the concept in the first place.
On the plus side, it's cute and it’s got me in the Christmas spirit – even though my balance wasn't enjoying the experience.
