Lucky Heaven Review
It's not very often that you find an online slot with a solo payline, but that's exactly the case in Lady Luck Games' Lucky Heaven. This oriental slot plays on 3-reels with a solo payline meaning that you have to land a winning combination of 3 of the same symbols on 1 line.
Alongside this simplistic gameplay, you'll notice that the visuals are inspired by the beauty of Chinese culture. Additionally, you'll find that there are 3 levels leading to multipliers when you land a winning combination and climb up. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, then be sure to stick around to find out more about Lucky Heaven.
Design
The entire slot is set in the clouds with various Bonzai trees surrounding the central hub. There are mountains in the distance and the reels are centred in a Chinese looking house with lanterns and pagoda roofs with a green colour scheme.
However, when you go up in levels, the quality improves with the second level having cherry blossom trees along with castles in the distance and pastels colours around the reels. Each level gets more impressive and adds more symbols to the reels.
As for the music, there's an oriental score in the distance with stringed instruments mixed with woodwind sounds to make something magical and epic. It gets more intense as you climb up the levels but retains a wonderful quality.
Gameplay
There's not a whole lot to the gameplay of Lucky Heaven as there is only 1 payline. As you land wins, you'll climb up levels to gain multipliers and that's about it for the gameplay.
In terms of the menus, you'll find the spin button, bet level and additional information at the bottom left of the screen.
Win Potential
Sadly, this slot starts off with a low RTP of 95.55% which is under the average standard but thankfully not ridiculously low. As for volatility, this slot has a high volatility level meaning that you'll often find that the wins are higher but at a less frequent rate.
When it comes to the maximum win, we found that the maximum seemed to be 400x your stake which can be achieved through multipliers in the different levels. This isn't anything spectacular and may put off some players as it's low compared to other online slots.
Our Verdict
Lucky Heaven is a strange online slot and may not appeal to all types of players. There is a definite lack of features in this slot but it seems deliberate to focus on the core elements of the gameplay and the overall design.
If you love land-based slots and want something better with more charm, then Lucky Heaven is one to check out. For those of you looking for something filled with features and online slot mechanics, then perhaps check out the section underneath to find something more suited.
