Loki's Riches Review
So, there's not much to it on the feature front but that doesn't mean that what it has got isn't incredibly powerful. You might think things are a little basic, but you couldn't be further from the truth.
As is the tradition with many Norse god slots, we find ourselves on a starry night with Aurora Borealis in the background. This spectacle plays out behind our main character who watches on menacingly to the right of the reels. Speaking of which, the grid is outlined in an ornate iron frame and all the symbols are various mythical trinkets that lend themselves perfectly to this theme. The theme tune is dramatic and keeps you glued to the screen and as the reels come crashing down to facilitate the tumble feature, you get some decent sound effects to go along with it. Don't forget that Pragmatic Play games such as this are available on a range of mobile devices as well.
Grid slots often provide a decent amount of base game action as the modifiers tend to be available throughout the entire storyline. The same is true here and you'll feel the benefits of that Special Expanding Symbol at any time. Big winning clusters keep the tension high and as those winning symbols are removed, you never know what might drop in and potentially keep your winning streak going. Making your way to the bonus round does depend on Scatter symbols in the UK but elsewhere, there is an option to buy directly into this bonus game for a heavenly wager of 100x.
As we've seen, it is possible to grab hold of the max 10,000x win at any time of the game thanks to a group of 25 plus Loki symbols. Of course, you don't have to do it all in one go and an accumulation of smaller wins could get you there as well. The RTP is pretty standard at 96.04% and you can expect some quite high volatility throughout this adventure.
I'm a big fan of grid slots as they tend to have a little bit more mystery and intrigue about them and that was certainly my experience with Loki's Riches. Admittedly, the bonus game did provide better wins when I was playing and this is due to the constant expanding symbol and generally more generous mood of the slot at that point. Everyone's run of spins is different and you never know what you're going to get. Would I play again? I certainly would!
