Hot Hot Chilli Pot Review
There's no denying that Mexican food is incredibly tasty and what better way to appreciate the food than making it yourself. That's exactly what you do in Red Tiger Gaming's Hot Hot Chilli Pot.
As the name suggests, you make a Chilli Pot in this slot and gain tastier ingredients with bigger wins. This slot is all about the modifiers leading to multipliers, removing symbols and fiery wilds! If you are wanting a delicious slot, then you've come to the right place.
Design
The setting of this slot takes place in a restaurant with a hot pot at the forefront. Ultimately, the reels are placed in a giant pot surrounded by various ingredients.
Avocados, beans, tomatoes, tortillas, onions, cucumbers, meat, carrots and chillis are all the ingredients for this dish and are the main symbols on the reels.
With this being a Mexican slot, you can expect bright and cheerful mariachi music that'll make you crave your own Hot Hot Chilli Pot.
Gameplay
Hot Hot Chilli Pot plays on a grid of 7x7 and uses the Cluster Pays mechanic to match up symbols of 5 instead of traditional paylines. This is definitely a more visual style of game similar to Candy Crush.
To the right of the reels, you'll find the spin button and the bet level just to the left. At the bottom of the screen, there's a tiny menu bar with the paytable, help and other additional information.
Win Potential
The base game contains RTP varying from 90.67% to 95.76% which is still quite low for an online slot. If the jackpot is attached, then the RTP can go as low as 90.04% which is pretty high for a jackpot.
Versions of this slot with the jackpot will find the Red Tiger Daily Jackpot which has three different progressive prizes. Slots without the jackpot will find the maximum win at 1,951x your stake which isn't great for an online slot but decent for a low volatility slot.
During our playthrough, we found that triggering the modifiers was fairly easy but we usually triggered the Yellow Chilli Wilds instead - which is something to be aware off.
Our Verdict
For a food slot hybrid with a Mexican sizzle, Hot Hot Chilli Pot is a huge amount of fun. The visuals aren't anything spectacular but it feels like you have been transported to a Mexican kitchen.
Perhaps, the only downside is the features as the modifiers just don't feel like enough. Call us old fashioned, but we'd prefer free spins or even respins.
That being said, the modifiers do deliver decent wins and make the slot worth at least one spin. If you want a tasty slot, then look no further than Hot Hot Chilli Pot.
