Harvest Wilds Review
The team at Hacksaw Gaming is on a roll recently with all of its slots being absolute knock-outs. Wanted Dead or a Wild and King Carrot showed that the slot developers release steady hits which is why we were excited to see where they went with Harvest Wilds.
Playing on a grid of 7x7, this food slot features multipliers, respins and a whole load of vegetables! It definitely helps that the maximum win is a tasty 10,000x your stake...
Design
If you've played one Hacksaw slot, then you'll be familiar with this one. The background is a rustic farm with light colours in the distance and some crops at the forefront. It almost looks like a storybook with bright colours.
All the symbols on the reels are various vegetables that look quite delicious. Unlike Jammin' Jars, the symbols are not alive but are just inanimate objects.
Known for iconic music, Hacksaw Gaming definitely delivered with the sound in this slot with an idyllic score to give off the innocent farm life paired with fun cartoon sounds increasing the experience.
Gameplay
Like most Hacksaw Gaming slots, this one plays on a grid and uses Cluster Pays. This leads to the matching of symbols rather than paylines making it easy for players to pick up the gameplay.
All the relevant menus are at the bottom of the screen with the spin button and bet level to the right. There is a bonus buy section but it's only available to non-UK players.
Win Potential
Firstly, Harvest Wilds starts with a respectable RTP of 96.35% which is acceptable for online slots as it's way over the average of 96%. In this slot, there's a medium to high volatility level leaving a mixture of low and high volatility wins - but a strong focus on the high side.
As for the maximum win, there's a mighty win of 10,000x your stake that can be achieved through the multipliers in this slot.
Our Verdict
Hacksaw Gaming has proved time and time again that they are a developer to be reckoned with. Whilst Harvest Wilds doesn't add anything nearly as innovative as Wanted Dead or A Wild, it's still a satisfying slot that is full of enjoyment.
The only thing we'd want to be improved would be the 'free spins' round and for the slot to have more stable features instead of modifiers. Despite this, Harvest Wilds is an appetising slot that many will love.
