Fish ‘n’ Nudge Review
Push Gaming has an affinity with underwater life with a couple of fantastic slots coming before Fish ‘n’ Nudge in the same category. Check out Razor Shark & Razor Returns for some incredible aquatic slot-spinning action.
Design
You can't fault the design team over at Push Gaming and they never fail to please. Everything is cute and crisp with a kind of Little Mermaid vibe going on. Bubbles floating to the surface, underwater sea life swaying with the current—you get the picture. There’s a nice, relaxed Caribbean tin drum looping away in the background and everything looks fantastic on smaller mobile screens as well.
Gameplay
Allowing the Fishing Net Overlay to work its magic during the base game has certainly done this slot a favour and has kept it alive and kicking. Without it, it may have struggled. Extending the idea through to the Free Spins Bonus and allowing the game to continue until no more overlays are in view is also a great way to continue the action.
Win Potential
You can expect a top win of 10,000x and in addition, the volatility level is medium. The RTP setting is 96.40%—keeping everything feeling fair but average.
My Verdict
I won't be screaming about Fish ‘n’ Nudge from the rooftops to anyone who will listen. But I don't think that was ever the point of this game. Developers like Push Gaming bring out the occasional banger that takes many months to create and in between, they like to keep the fans happy with a release that flies out into the casinos with a little more haste. But don't let that put you off, it's still a great game with plenty of win potential and some top graphics to enjoy.
