Fire Blaze: Green Wizard Review
Back in 2019, Rare Stone created an absolute classic slot with Blue Wizard. Naturally, the slot developers tried to replicate this magic with Red Wizard in 2020 but failed to reach audiences. Rare Stone is at it again with the third attempt with Fire Blaze: Green Wizard.
Playing on 5-reels with 243 ways to win, this magic slot draws you in with free spins, multipliers and the fantastic Fire Blaze respin mechanic. If you are looking for a bewitching time, Fire Blaze: Green Wizard could be the one for you.
Design
One thing that is clear from just opening up the slot is the fact that the design is the best one in the series and to an incredibly high standard. The slot takes place in a forest with different mystical plants around.
When the game is static, you can really appreciate the visuals with green sparkles throughout and subtle animations. As for the symbols on the reels, there are various ones relating to magicians with potions, mushrooms and cats which all look fantastic.
In between spins, there are ambient noises of animals and sounds of the forest. This is paired with a soft synth score throughout spins. It definitely feels serene and quite peaceful for a slot.
Gameplay
Whilst the name Fire Blaze can be quite intimidating, all this slot has is a free spin round and a respin bonus round. There is nothing complicated or too stressful going on in this slot.
The right side of the screen contains the spin button and the bet level, whilst the information section can be found at the top left of the screen.
Win Potential
Compared to the original Blue Wizard, the statistics for this game are similar but slightly worse. Whilst the maximum win has stayed the same at 2,000x the stake, the RTP is a lot lower at 95.90% which is just under the average standard.
What's disappointing is that the win has stayed the same despite the original being released in 2019. The iGaming industry has evolved since this time and we were hoping for something at least at 5,000x the stake.
Our Verdict
For the most part, Fire Blaze: Green Wizard is remarkable from Rare Stone. The design is absolutely stunning and completely brings the slot to life. It feels like the slot series has been moved to the modern era.
The same can be said for the gameplay which will provide hours of thrilling moments. Our only criticism is that the win potential is too low. It's not a huge red flag, but will certainly put off some players.
