Players just need to land winning combinations along any of the game’s 25 paylines, provided the combination starts from the leftmost reel. The low pays are 10 to Ace, and they’ll pocket you 3.2x to 4x the bet for a 5-of-a-kind. The high-pay symbols, however, flirt more closely with the realms of fantasy. They are, in ascending order of value, a scroll, a book, a ring, a farmer and a wizard. Hit a 5-of-a-kind made up of these bad boys and you’re looking at a win of between 6x and 16x the bet! Magic.

There are 5 different types of Dragon Wilds in total, but you only start off with access to the Dragon Egg Wilds, and the other Dragon Wilds come as you fill up the Progress Meter.
Winning combination can consist of more than one type of Wild, regardless of the level. When players advance to level 2, they unlock the Baby Dragon, which can only land on reels 2 and 4 and carries a multiplier of 3x. After that, you’ve got the Young Dragon, which is potentially an expanding Wild that appears on reels 2,3 and 4. If one of these forms part of a winning combo, it’ll expand to cover the entire reel, thereby potentially forming part of even more winning combinations.
The Dragon Queen will only land on the 3rd reel and will only expand if it’ll form part of a win in doing so. It also multiplies any wins by 3x. The Dragon King Wild lands on the middle reel and is also an expanding Wild; however, it also mirrors reels 1 and 2 onto reels 4 and 5.
Moving onto the Scatters now, and only 1 of these can land per reel, but if you land 3, 4 or 5 of them, you’ll be given 5, 8 and 12 free spins, respectively. On top of that, throughout the round, all Dragon Wild symbols are active, regardless of the level from which you access the Free Spins. When the reels aren’t spinning, it sounds as if you’re listening to the game’s music underwater and just to add to small audio disappointment, it’s a bit of a whimsical, Lord-of-the-Rings orchestra that doesn’t really come to life. The visuals are along the lines of an old fairytale storybook and just about do their job. Very average in the design department.
I’m personally a big fan of cumulative meters—knowing that the more I spin those reels, the higher my chances of seeing bigger and better features. On top of that, the potentially lucrative Free Spins round with all the different Wilds activated is a much-appreciated addition, too.
