Donny introduced some multipliers worth up to 500x, which is considerably higher than those found in this game. However, you have more paylines to work with when you opt for Danny and you can also get a slightly higher top win.
With five reels and five rows, you might be wondering what kind of payline mechanic you're working with here – I can confirm that it is a standard 19 paylines. Across these lines, you can land royal symbols and picture symbols and if you get a group of five aces, you'll see a 2x win. If you uncover five of the purple gems, you’ll bag 10x.
Regular wild symbols land wherever they fancy and these will also pay 10x for a group of five. Wild symbols can also add multipliers to the reels but they need a little help from Danny.
The Danny symbols expand upwards as they land if they could help create a win as a wild symbol. From the position they land, they expand to the top of the grid and if they pass through a wild symbol that already exists, a multiplier is added. The reel multipliers have values worth up to 200x. You can also see multipliers added together if more than one of them exists on the same reel.
Nudge symbols are the big glitzy arrows and these help you by pushing an expanded reel down one step to increase the wild power that is unleashed by Danny.
There are two free spins bonuses available and the first one only requires 3 FS scatter symbols. You get 10 free spins and you're working with much the same idea as you were in the first part of the game.
The only real difference is that you have indicators added to show where the last Danny symbol was and any new ones that land can't go above that marked position.

Progressive global multipliers are great ways of pushing your balance extremely high on a good day. Unfortunately, you're going to need to make it to the super bonus game to see any of this action take place. For the rest of us, we may get some standard free spins and we'll be enjoying much of the same expanding wild action.

Danny Dollar has an almost identical game show feel with the reels presented as a show screen in the middle of a stage. The colours are a little brighter in this version but it doesn't really feel any different. The symbols are well designed and the soundtrack has a fun egde that some players might enjoy.
When you compare Danny to his brother, you might find yourself siding with the earlier release due to the favourable stats. Medium volatility is often much kinder to your balance and the max payout isn't much different. There are fewer pay lines but it didn't really affect gameplay all that much. The thing I liked about the original was that the Donny symbols were sticky in the bonus but in Danny's game, you have a global multiplier if you can make it to the Super version of the feature. It's time for you to weigh up your options and decide which one you prefer.
