The game area is a standard 5x3 with 10 paylines. To win, just land matching symbols along the paylines, starting from the leftmost reel. Low-pay symbols are the Card Soldiers of different suits and 5-of-a-kind can award players up to 10x the stake. A winning combination consisting of the more valuable animal symbols, however, can be worth up to 500x the stake!
There are 5 different Wilds: the titular character, Alice, will cover an entire reel if she can form part of a winning combination; the Cheshire Cat Wild carries a multiplier of between 2x and 3x; and the Caterpillar, Mad Hatter and White Rabbit Wilds also serve as Bonus Scatters.

Obtain enough points, and you’ll trigger their Gold feature when you enter the Bonus Respins, which basically means you’ll get more respins / their corresponding function will retrigger more times.
You’ll need to land 3 Scatters to access the Bonus Respins round. Any Standard Scatters on the grid turn into multipliers and stick to the grid. If the Bonus is triggered by a Character Scatter, said Scatter will stick to the grid and perform its functions on each respin. The Cheshire Cat, for example, will select a random number of symbols and will double their values. The Mad Hatter collects the values of all the other symbols and adds them to his own. The Caterpillar increases the values of all the other symbols from 1+ to 5+.
The Respin counter starts off at 4, but it resets every time a new symbol falls. Apart from the standard Card Soldier multipliers, other symbols include Alice, who carries a multiplier of between 1x and 10x and will interact with at least 1 character. There’s also the Silver White Rabbit, who gives you another respin, the Mushroom, which creates an extra row of symbol positions, and the Queen of Hearts, who collects card values before removing them and thereby creating space for more.
Outside the UK, players should be able to buy instant access to Bonus Respins for between 60x and 500x. For that you can buy between 1 and 4 respins and between 2 and 5 Gold Features/Characters.
The Alice Wild will cover an entire reel to form winning combinations. The Cheshire Cat Wild multiplies its winning combos by up to 3x. There’s also the Caterpillar, and Mad Hatter Wilds, which, like the Cheshire Cat, also serve as Scatters.

The setting is the Queen of Heart’s bush maze at night, and the game area is primarily populated by her conscripts, although it is interspersed with pretty much every other character from the story, all of whom are beautifully rendered. Despite the breadth of features, the clarity of the game’s layout means you won't get lost. The music is as melodic and whimsical as it should be for a modern fairy tale. Also, the sound effects are very satisfying when you hit a winning combination.
Upon reading the instructions, you might assume this is the most complex slot known to man—I know I did! After a while, you'll get the hang of it, so just have a few spins and you'll see that the game is a lot easier than the convoluted instructions make out. While I was playing, it certainly lived up to its high-volatility rating, but when I hit a winning combo or triggered the bonus round, I felt like I was in Wonderland.
