Rise of Gods: Reckoning
There are hundreds of Greek-inspired slots focusing on all the gods - but none done quite like Rise of Gods: Reckoning. In this slot, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon have to team up to stop the Titans - but in a modern setting.
All of the gods wish to remain on Earth acting as humans but the Titans threaten all they know. Developed by Play'n GO, this mythical slot uses free spins and synchronised reels leading to wins of up to 10,000x your stake.
The game opens up with a cutscene of all the Greek gods getting ready to fight the Titans in an epic cutscene. We are introduced to Zeus, Hades and Poseidon who have all had a cool makeover making them look stylish and into modern action heroes.
Once the slot starts, there is a skyline of New York with the reels at the front of the screen. There are waves in the distance and lightning in the sky as you spin the reels.
Throughout the game, the sound is subtle with a few noises to build up the atmosphere. However, there are voice-overs from the characters and this will leave you with goosebumps as it's that intense.
During this slot, there are a few main features such as the free spins and multipliers - but the most unique is the synchronised reels mechanic that looks amazing when it happens.
Like most Play'n GO slots, there is a menu bar at the bottom of the screen with the spin button and the bet level here.
Unfortunately, Rise of Gods: Reckoning is lacking in the maximum win department as it's a staple 5,000x your stake - which is, unfortunately, growing increasingly common with Play'n GO.
The RTP for this slot is decent at 96.20% but nothing overly special. There is also a high volatility level leading to bigger wins, but these will occur less frequently.
Rise of Gods: Reckoning is refreshing for a mythical slot and we would love to see this as an epic slot series to rival Age of the Gods or Kingdoms Rise.
Whilst there were a huge amount of features in this slot, the gameplay was thrilling and provided great entertainment. Our only real issue was the mediocre maximum win of 5,000x your stake and hope that this is something that is fixed in potential sequels.
Despite this, we definitely recommend trying out Rise of Gods: Reckoning as it's an interesting concept that is executed pretty well with some genuinely amazing moments.
