Set after King Arthur's epic adventure in The Sword and the Grail, the heroes return for an even bigger journey in returning the diamonds back to Camelot. As the second instalment in the King Arthur series, Diamonds of the Realm continues the story and brings can Queen Guinevere and all your favourite characters from the original for a new adventure.

Design
As you start up the slot, you are given a quick backstory into the past game and are caught up to speed with what is currently going on. It's told through title cards but is done brilliantly that you feel like you are being told an old fable and it really gets you in the spirit for the slot. After the introduction is over, you are greeted to a picture of Camelot under distress with flames coming out of the town showing you that there are high stakes in this slot.
The characters on the reels are of course familiar faces from the first slot, with King Arthur, Queen Guinevere and of course the two villains of Morgan and Modred. They are designed to look like a classical painting and look incredible - you can't help but marvel at them.
It's only natural that the music is grand and epic with a huge score in the background that is befitting for a King Arthur slot. There's a soft lute instrument that provides some relief during the heavy moments and it's brilliant.
Gameplay
Diamonds of the Realm contains straightforward gameplay that follows the traditional slot format of matching up wins on the paylines. This slot contains a diamond mechanic in which you collect them to build up a multiplier and free spins, but that's about as complicated as it gets.
Like most Play'n GO slots, you can find all the buttons at the bottom of the screen. The spin button is to the right of the screen with the autospin and bet level to the side of it.

King Arthur returns with a triumphant slot and we absolutely loved it. Sure, there are only two real features but they are impressive enough that you can't help but appreciate them. The multipliers can reach up to x100 and the free spins can reach up to 20 - which is a great combination.
Aside from the straightforward but entertaining gameplay, Diamonds of the Realm looks fantastic with so much detail that you can tell the designers have put loads of effort into creating the right slot that stays faithful to the legends of King Arthur. It's a no brainer to try out this slot if you loved the original, but it's definitely worth a spin even if you are a newcomer to the series.
