In order to win, players have to land 7 matching symbols anywhere on the 5x7 grid – no paylines or adjacent reels. Every time you hit a win, those symbols disappear, allowing further symbols to drop. These avalanches continue until there are no more wins.
The cat-related objects are worth the least. Land 15+ of the same one and you’ll pocket up to 2.5x the wagered amount. The 4 different coloured jewels are worth more. If you land more than 15 of the same colour, you can win between 3x and 25x.
The Wilds only substitute for these symbols. A Hot Wild will generate between 1 and 3 extra Wilds and or Hot Wilds.
The bottom row is the Collect Zone. If you manage to land any coin symbols there, they’ll pay out. If a multiplier slides down there, its value is added to the global multiplier, which is then applied to all wins, including any coin wins.
Mystery symbols activate regardless of where they are on the grid, though not if they’re symbols that require Collect-Zone activation. Mystery symbols can take the form of Wilds, Hot Wilds, Coins, Multipliers, Bonus, Super Bonus or Paw Strike symbols.
The Paw Strike function removes all standard pay symbols from the grid, hopefully providing enough room for special feature symbols to drop down into the Collect Zone.
Landing 1, 2, 3 or 4 Bonus symbols in the Collect Zone will award 3, 5, 7 and 9 win drops respectively. The same goes for Super Bonus Symbols. In the bonus round, the Collect Zone now consists of the bottom 2 rows – 3 in Super Bonus.
Every time one of your free drops doesn’t result in a win, the global multiplier increases. A collected Bonus symbol awards an extra spin. A collected Super bonus upgrades a standard Bonus game to a Super bonus and if you’re already playing the Super bonus, you’re awarded another drop.
Players outside the UK can buy instant access to different features. For example, the Bonus and Super Bonus rounds cost 100x and 500x the stake respectively.
I managed to win 3 win drops within my first few spins. I won another 3 win drops within another 20 base game spins, and yet again within about 10 more spins after that. Thanks to the no-win multipliers and the still-active avalanche function, you can hit some massive wins with only 3 drops. I hit an especially big haul the first time I triggered the round.
Land symbols in the ‘Collect Zone’ to increase your wins. A multiplier symbol will add its value to the global multiplier, which will then be applied to all standard wins and coin wins. Winning symbols and instant cash coins in the Collect Zone pay out immediately.

The more bonus or super bonus symbols landed in the collect zone, the more win drops you receive. The bottom 2 rows (bottom 3 in Super Bonus) then become the Collect Zone.
The game’s RTP is just 94% and the volatility is medium. Looking at the paytable, I could see you’d have to land a lot of matching symbols to end up with a half-decent return. Needless to say, I didn’t have high hopes for high sums of money. Nonetheless, the game’s features in both the base game and bonus rounds activate often and provide lots of opportunities for wins.
Thanks to the increased size of the Collect Zone in the bonus rounds, it’s not hard to trigger further spins and take advantage of coins and multipliers. The max win is 10,000x. When you take into account the fact the avalanches are still active during free spins, I don’t find it hard to believe that a lucky individual could hit that amount.
The action takes place in a circular ancient Egyptian temple – a cat temple. The 5x7 grid has the dimensions of an arcade pinball machine and a smiling stone Cheshire cat with 4 arms sits at the head of it.
The game looks great on both desktop and mobile. It’s easy to see where your scatter pays wins are coming from, but things can get a little complicated when you start activating the game's many special symbols and features. Regardless, it won’t take anyone long to get the hang of it.
The music is a fairly nondescript number – the type you’d hear in a bog-standard film set in North Africa. I much prefer the psytrance that kicks in when you hit a big win.
